Friends

Since the time we start school, elementary school, we make friends. We play jump rope and hop scotch at recess. Then we move on to Jr. High and we make friends in our band class, PE class and hang out at Wal-Mart. Then comes high school and we go with our old friends and make new ones in our classes. We meet new friends at dances and we hang out at parks. We are finally old enough to drive around with our friends and go on fun driving adventures. We then go to college. We start over and make completely new friends.
While we are making new friends all the time throughout our life, how do we know which ones are our real friends? Well like this quote says, a friend is someone you can feel comfortable with no matter where you are or what you are doing. A real friend is going to be the person that listens to your problems, a person who tells you the truth, a person who is sensitive to your feelings, a person who cares about you no matter what you do. It's easy to find a friend who has one of these traits but it is difficult to find a friend who has all of them. A good and true friend has all of these traits. In my life I have found only a few good and true friends. I am very grateful for those friends. We need to make sure we are those true friends to people we know and care about.    It is then easier to obtain the better friends in our life. Friends can be alone with each other and feel comfortable, they can have deep conversations and help each other with true advice. The silence will never bother friends. I love my friends! :)
